
To meet obligations under Chapter VI of STCW Code and section 6.3 of the ISM Code, and as recommended by the latest "SIGNALS" of North England P&I that seafarers joining the vessel must receive suitable familiarization training before thay are allowed to undertake any shipboard duties and in order to provide well trained seafarers for the Ship owners DGERELA Maritime Services created in - house training courses which based on latest STCW 95 and ISM Code requirements.
This training module is taught by sea going staff and a master mariner.
Main purpose of the training module is:
1. To provide the ship owners well trained seafarers
2. To familiarize candidates with the policy of the company they are going to work with
3. To familiarize candidates with all safety news and ISM and STCW Code requirements
Only upon passing this courses candidates will have an opportunity to be Employed by the ship owners or managing companies we are working with.
DGERELA Maritime Services also created English courses where seafarers will receive basic knowledge which will help them to survive in foreign companies.
